Disney’s Upgrade to Blu Program

11 Jun

Now that I have a Blu-Ray player I was confronted with the problem of re-buying all of my old DVD’s so that I could have them in Blu-Ray. Well, I shouldn’t say that. I NEVER plan on upgrading all 200+ of my DVD’s to Blu-Ray. It just doesn’t make sense. Blu-Ray’s are still pretty expensive, so I’ll only get Blu-Ray’s on movies I REALLY want swapped.

Betty White’s Big Day

7 May

Betty White’s heyday was a few years ago but she is definitely having somewhat of a revival. With her hilarious, boob grabbing part in The Proposal to her down and dirty Snickers commercial:

As most of you know, she will be hosting Saturday Night Live on Saturday (May 8th). Which marks the Emmy award-winning actress and game show host’s first appearance. I will definitely be DVRing the show to watch it later. She also has more going on tomorrow!

As I told you on Monday, GSN (Game Show Network) has finally arrived on Bright House and they will be hosting a “No Match for Betty Match Game Marathon” before her SNL. Tune in from 9am to 4pm to see the best of Betty White on Match Game!

Game Show Network

3 May

FINALLY! Bright House has FINALLY added the Game Show Network to its cable lineup!!!! Took them long enough.

The network has been around since 1994. So yea, it only took Bright House 16 years. No big deal!

I remember watching this channel on my parents old Dish Network and I LOVED it.

During the day the mainly show 1970’s and 80’s era game shows. Match GameThe $25,000 Pyramid, Family Feud and The Newlywed Game. At night the show more current programming, including some of their own shows. You will see Deal or No Deal reruns, LINGO or catch Jerry Springer’s new dating show Baggage. My favorite old show (that they have also made a new version) is Press Your Luck!

Baggage is a dating show that revolves around the contestants baggage. Get it? They have giant briefcases (a la Deal or No Deal) that carry their baggage. Like how likely they are to cheat, that they can’t get a credit card or that they used to be gay. Fun stuff like that!

All game shows, all the time! How awesome is that!!!!

Brent Spiner Kicks @$$

24 Apr

Even before he was my favorite android on the best Space TV show ever! He was on Night Court (remember that awesome show?). Wil Wheaton (who’s book I’m currently reading) posted a video and a story on his site and I decided to post a couple YouTube finds on my own.

Enjoy

One more past the break!

Glee…Season Two

19 Apr

So, I wrote about Glee last year and I liked it but I didn’t write anymore about it through the first season. The main reason was because the show kinda sucked. Sure there were some good “show choir” renditions of popular songs and classics with Jane Lynch making me crack up every time she opened Sue Sylvester’s mouth but that was it. The actual show was the same thing every week. From the second episode you knew exactly what was going to happen in their plot lines. But I know they had to play it safe and, as expected, they wrapped everything up nice and neat in the last episode.

Census For Trekkies!

2 Apr

I got this article from a Tweet by LeVar Burton (@levarburton) yesterday.

Census Bureau Receiving Forms With Star Trek Races Written In (From TrekMovie.com)

I, as I told you, filled out my census form without thinking of having some fun. I wish I could be recognized officially as a Borg or Vulcan or Cardassian ( Not Kardashian). I could have at least put Trekkie in the box!

In other Census news. My parents didn’t get a Census form. I got a pre-letter, the Census and a postcard reminding me to fill out the Census and my parents got nothing. The house has been there since the  early 80’s and they’ve lived there since 1986 so apparently the US Government knows who lives there…They are watching us you know!

Booty Pop

10 Mar

This may not be a new product, but it is new to me. While watching a Guilty Pleasure TV show I saw a commercial for Booty Pop Panties!

These are panties with “implants” in them to make your butt bigger or “pop.”

Do you think the make them in men’s styles?

And don’t forget about your FREE Panda Express today!!!
