Bertolli Oven Bake Meals

10 Jan

While walking through the grocery store the other day I found Bertolli’s Oven Bake Meals! I’ve seen, and enjoy, Bertolli’s frozen meals that you throw into a pan and cook up, and these were on sale for 2 for $10, so I decided to grab a couple and check them out. I believe the regular price is $7.99.

I made the Meat Lasagna Rustica and it couldn’t have been simpler! All you need is a baking dish, non-stick cooking spray and aluminum foil! That’s it!

The packaging!

The packaging!

Open up the bag and dump the contents into your baking dish.

Really cool freezing!

Inside was a small bag of cheese (for later), two individual lasagna pieces and a bunch of individually frozen sauce pockets. Yup, each one of those red shapes is a small batch of meat sauce frozen.

Cover tightly with aluminum foil

Place in a 400 degree, pre-heated, oven and cook for 45 minutes! After 45 minutes spoon some sauce over the lasagna.

Looks yummy, but missing something?

Cover with the cheese pouch:

YUMMY!

YUMMY!

Back in the oven for 5 minutes uncovered.

All done!

All done!

The worst part is that you have to let this sit for another 5 minutes!!!

Dinner is served!

This was REALLY good. You can really taste the meat and the pasta ended up being perfectly cooked. I think this would be great to keep in the freezer for an easy dinner for two. It tastes almost as good as my home made lasagna, but is a LOT easier!

You can also go HERE for a $2 off coupon!

Very easy and looks yummy. Cost? You did say they were on sale but how much does that make them?
