Anybody got a babysitter????

17 May

Last night I went to the movie Iron Man with my mom and dad at the AMC Altamonte 18 at 7:45pm. This movie is a full 2 hours plus the trailers meant the movie didn’t get out until after 10pm.

Now, the movie was excellent, a little obvious at times, but it was from a comic book…but the theater had no fewer then 15 children under 10 with at least 2 of them being under 2!! I don’t have a problem against children and I have friends with small children, but do they belong in a PG-13 rated movie on a Friday night? I don’t think so.

The movie had some highly inappropriate content for children under 10 and it wasn’t a non-stop action movie which led to these children running up and down the aisles.

So, is there a dearth of of 14-17 year old girls?? It sure doesn’t seem like it when I see all the girls at the Loop every weekend. I think if they were baby sitting then they wouldn’t have the time to be wandering around the malls dressed like hookers. Also, when did it become alright to drop your kids off at the mall for 3-4 hours after dark on the weekends?

::end rant::
